We did some more colour mixing today with our six basic, split primary colours, making a larger, three ringed colour wheel. We experimented with adding white to our colours for the inner ring, and one person began to explore the complementaries to desaturate, or darken, the colours for the outside ring. We will continue with the complementary colour mixing next week for the first half of the session, and begin to look at various watercolour paint applications for the second half.
